**Headline: Cameroon Boosts Clean Cooking Gas Access in North West Region with New Ultra-Modern LPG Plant**

**Bamenda, Cameroon** – In a major step toward improving access to clean and affordable cooking gas, Cameroon has inaugurated an ultra-modern LPG refilling plant in the North West Region. The newly launched facility, located in Bamenda, has an impressive hourly capacity of refilling **600 units of 12.5kg gas cylinders**, significantly enhancing the availability of cooking gas for households in the hinterlands and suburbs.  

This development is set to transform energy access in the region, reducing reliance on firewood and charcoal, which contribute to deforestation and health hazards. The increased supply of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) will ensure that more families can switch to cleaner, safer, and more efficient cooking solutions.
